Job summary

ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and build scalable applications. You will contribute to backend services, APIs, and data layer while applying best practices in design, testing, and deployment.

You'll work with Python, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming with web frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with Cassandra NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Kafka messaging.
• Proficiency in Linux system operations.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Version control with Git and complex branching.
• RESTful API design and development.
• Testing with Pytest and automated tests.
• CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with big data technologies and TDD is preferred.

• Python – Strong proficiency with at least one web framework (Django, Flask, FAST)

• SQL & Database Management – PostgreSQL, MySQL
• NoSQL Databases – Cassandra
• Message Brokers – Apache Kafka
• Linux OS – Proficiency in system-level operations
• Containerization – Docker
• Container Orchestration – Kubernetes
• Version Control – Git with complex branching strategies
• Software Development – Methodologies and best practices
