Job summary

Viderity Inc. is seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain Java web applications using J2EE, REST/JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, and related technologies. You will work within an Agile team, produce design documents, and help resolve issues across development and production environments.

The role emphasizes building RESTful services, microservices, and cloud deployments with AWS, while contributing to code reviews, unit testing, and production support responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with J2EE and REST/JSON based services.
• Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Comfort with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java web applications.
• Follow Agile software development lifecycle and produce design documents.
• Debug, investigate issues, and resolve production incidents.
• Collaborate with teams to implement RESTful services and microservices.

Job description

Viderity is seeking a Backend Developer with experience in developing J2EE applications using REST/JSON, Spring,

SpringBoot, J2EE. Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business

requirements. Follows approved Agile life cycle methodologies, creates design documents & performs

program coding. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Works a

portion of their time as a member of the production support team.

• Strong experience with the GIT version control system and familiarity with code repository
