Job summary

IBM is seeking a Back-End Software Engineering Intern to contribute to NetTools Network Automation. You will work on Python microservices for Axon/NCS, REST APIs, and YAML-driven configurations across IBM Cloud data centers.

You will build test coverage, help integrate NCS/Axon with SSOT/Hivemind data platforms, and participate in Dockerized services and container workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Back-end development experience in Python with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with JSON/YAML processing and API design.
• Experience writing unit or integration tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end Python services for Axon/NCS.
• Contribute to test coverage and regression tests.
• Assist integration between NCS/Axon and SSOT/Hivemind data platforms.
• Refactor components and improve Docker configurations.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews.
