Job summary

Remilia Corporation in Irvine, California, is seeking experienced backend engineers to join the team building infrastructure, APIs, and services for first-party products and a developer community. The stack favors well-structured services with a minimal dependency monorepo (Go, SQLite, TypeScript/React).

You will partner with the lead architect on data models, API contracts, and scalable back-end capabilities, while mentoring peers and improving testing and reviews.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of serious backend work you can walk us through in depth.
• Years of experience building and running production systems with scale and correctness.
• Experience with payments, ledgers, entitlements, or virtual economies.
• Experience building social systems: graphs, permissions, feeds, chat, moderation.
• Strong relational data modeling: schema design, indexing, migrations on live data.
• Clear technical writing with specs and design docs.

Responsibilities

• Build social graph and identity with concurrency-safe moderation.
• Implement currencies, balances, drops, crafting, cosmetics, and on-chain reconciliation.
• Develop social product back-end for chat, timelines, feeds, and notifications.
• Define versioned APIs and contract-first data models with architects.
• Mentor teammates and improve testing and code review.
