Job summary

Remilia-Corporation in Irvine, California, is seeking experienced backend engineers to join our team building the infrastructure and APIs that power our product and developer ecosystem.

You will collaborate with the lead architect on data models and contract-first APIs, using a simple Go/SQLite/TypeScript stack in a minimal-monorepo.

This role emphasizes correctness, scalability, and mentoring others as the system grows.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of serious backend work you can walk us through in depth.
• Years of experience building and running production systems at scale.
• Experience with correctness around value: payments, ledgers, entitlements.
• Experience building social systems: graphs, feeds, chat, moderation.
• Strong relational data modeling: schema design, indexing, migrations on live data.
• Clear writing in specs and design docs.

Responsibilities

• Build the social graph and identity components with concurrency and performance.
• Implement currencies, balances, drops, crafting, cosmetics, and on-chain asset reconciliation.
• Develop chat, timelines, feeds, and notifications as reusable backend capabilities.
• Implement contract-first, versioned APIs and evolve contracts with the architect for cross-frontend compatibility.
• Mentor teammates and raise the bar in design reviews, testing, and code reviews.
