Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Networking is hiring Software Development Engineers (SDE) to join our Backbone Engineering team. You will design and architect software feeding Network Engineers with information about AWS Backbone network performance.

This role is part of the Backbone organization focused on increasing scale, efficiency, and resiliency of the AWS Backbone. You will help automate capacity allocation of AWS services workloads into the network and work with cross-team partners to ensure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years designing/architecting scalable systems.
• 1+ years of SDE or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
