WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A BACK WAITER

• Responsible for accurate knowledge of the entire menu
• Carries the order in hand or on a tray to the table and serves the plates based on assigned position numbers
• Timely delivery of dishes from the kitchen to the dining room is a must, including tableside service
• Confidently announcing and explaining dishes
• Assists chefs with expediting orders, to including assembly, garnishing and inspecting the delicious food dishes for quality and visual appeal of the plate
• Removes dirty plates, glasses and utensils from other tables and delivers them to the dishwashing station
• Replenishes the stations with product and supplies
• Must work well with both kitchen and dining room staff to ensure optimal organization and service
• Breaks down and cleans work area, storing perishable product, cleaning equipment and supplies, and restocking to end of day
• Must maintain a clean working environment.
