United Pipe & Steel is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate / CDL A Driver (Floater) in Easton, PA. The role supports warehouse operations and driving duties, with a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule.

The position offers $30.00 per hour and overtime opportunities, with benefits and a strong safety culture. The successful candidate will hold a CDL A, have a clean driving record, and at least one year of verifiable CDL experience, preferably with flatbeds.

Qualifications

• Requires current CDL A license.
• Clean driving record; no DUI/DWI in last 3 years.
• Minimum of one year verifiable commercial driving experience; flatbed experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse: Load/unload pipe from flatbed trucks; operate forklift; keep area clean and safe; inspect goods and report damage.
• Backup Driver: Ensure safe deliveries/pickups; maintain equipment; comply with DOT/logbook requirements; follow schedules and assist as needed.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and dependable Back-up CDL A Driver / Forklift Operator, or “Floater”, to join our team. Whether supporting our customers, operations, warehouse, transportation, sales, or administrative functions, this role plays an important part in our continued success. What You'll Do

Warehouse

• Loading & unloading pipe from flatbed trucks
• Operates forklift to pick up and transport heavy inventory around the warehouse.
• Climbing on and off flatbed trailers
• Maintains forklift by completing preventive maintenance. Report any malfunctions, insufficiencies, or necessary repairs through the relevant channels.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed.
• Inspect all products being shipped and received, reporting defective or damaged items.

Backup Driver

• Ensure safe delivery and pick up of products and equipment. Safety first!
• Climbing on and off flatbed trailers, re-tarping product if necessary.
• Abide by all Federal and local laws.
• Responsible for taking care of & maintaining all assigned equipment and products.
• Maintain DOT compliance with logbook, vehicle, and vehicle operation.
• Make deliveries on schedule.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

What We're Looking For

• Possesses a current CDL A license.
• Clean driving record; no DUI/DWI convictions; No more than three violations occurring in the last 3 years.
• Minimal of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience, with flatbed experience preferred.
• Prefer no driving restrictions.
• Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a distribution warehouse environment helpful.
• Be willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
• Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam and random drug screening.
• This position requires considerable physical activity, including standing for prolonged periods, reaching, bending repeatedly, lifting, pushing, and pulling safely up to 50 pounds.

Monday-Friday schedule/ Weekends off
Full-time + Overtime (55 hours a week on average)
