Job summary

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is seeking a Warehouse Driver to perform local deliveries from our St. Louis area locations. The role includes warehouse duties such as picking and pulling orders, and requires a Class A CDL.

A clean driving record and ability to lift 25 pounds are necessary. Forklift experience is a plus, and pre-employment drug screening will be conducted after an offer. The position is full-time with a team-oriented environment in a setting that may involve driving in city and

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required; water/sewer utilities experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screening and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and work procedures.
• Prepare receipts for load picked up. May maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
• May load and unload truck; inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water; perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Cleans work area or vehicle.
• Performs other duties as needed.
