Job summary

Carver Road Hospitality in Las Vegas is seeking a Back Server to assist the Front Server and promote guest satisfaction in our luxury steakhouse. You will provide high quality service, check allergies, and communicate specials while ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.

This role requires previous server or hospitality experience, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous server/hospitality experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
• Ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Must follow health and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests while providing professional service.
• Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
• Presents desserts or drink menus, answers questions, and make suggestions for all food and beverage items.
• Informs guests of all food and beverage specials.
• Enter orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/card payment procedures.
• Ensure timely delivery of all food and beverage to the guests.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company.
• Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards.
• Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Back-of-House staff and managers.
• Performs opening, closing and side-work.
• Attends daily pre-service meetings.
