Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a seasoned HR Shared Services Back Office Leader to guide a team of HR professionals and ensure efficient delivery of HR services.

You will oversee onboarding, offboarding, training, and reporting, while driving process improvements and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires strong leadership, HR policy expertise, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with other HR teams and subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 4+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience in HR Shared Services or Service Center environment.
  • Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and other HR technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR professionals and provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure effective performance
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services Back Office team, including onboarding, off-boarding, Samsung U, training, and reporting
  • Ensure that all HR services are delivered in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
  • Provide change management and process improvement recommendations
  • Continuously improve HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security
  • Collaborate with other HR teams and subsidiaries to ensure alignment of HR services
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders
  • Motivate the team to achieve organizational goals
  • Present best practices and recommendations for expanded use to management and subs
  • Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, knowledge, and communication skills
  • Conduct training of team members to maximize their potential
  • Ability and willingness to back-up, support, and fill in for any member on the team
