Job summary

CommuniCare+OLE is recruiting for a Clinic Flow Coordinator in North Napa to optimize primary care clinic back-office operations. You will facilitate communication among providers, staff, and patients, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient appointment management.

The role requires MA certification, at least two years in outpatient MA work, CPR, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual skills are highly preferred; this position is based at the Napa campus.

Qualifications

• Completion of M.A. certification required.
• Two years working as an M.A. in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working in a health clinic or demonstrated commitment to low income populations strongly preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish/Dari/Punjabi/Vietnamese strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinic flow in the back office and manage cancelled and no-show appointments.
• Maximize schedules by coordinating multiple schedules and standby list.
• Collaborate with Clinic Manager, Medical Director, and Back Office Supervisor to fill appointment slots.
• Improve front-to-back office communication to optimize patient flow and exam room utilization.
• Screen patients for appropriate visits and coordinate case information.
• Support nursing staff to minimize wait times, especially for urgent needs.
• Back up Lead MA/Back Office Supervisor for administrative duties.
• Assist with QIP measures and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
