Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Teterboro is looking for a Back of House Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food while ensuring exceptional service for all guests.

This position requires a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Full-time and part-time positions available, with competitive pay and benefits including flexible scheduling and 401(k) matching for full-time employees.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities

• Smile, Create and Maintain Eye Contact, Speak in a Friendly Tone, Always say, "My Pleasure!"
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick‑fil‑A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up‑to‑date with new products rolled out by Chick‑fil‑A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up‑to‑date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick‑fil‑A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
