Job summary

Tacos 4 Life is seeking a Front-of-House? Back of House Team Member to support our kitchen operations in Overland Park. The Line Cook will prep and prepare meals with excellence, following SOPs to protect food quality and consistency.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, able to multitask, and comfortable in a busy kitchen environment. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities to grow with a team that values culture and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Follow Tacos 4 Life standard operating procedures in kitchen.
• Efficiently follow a daily prep cook list provided by management.
• Preparing and cooking ingredients for the line (including hot prep, cold prep, grill prep, and grill fry).
• Efficiently prepare all menu items in a timely manner.
• Expediting food from kitchen to FOH staff.
• Maintain cleanliness by following the station checklist.
• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Assisting with stocking food truck orders.
• Must be a team player and assist when and where needed.

• Prolonged periods standing and working at kitchen equipment.

• May need to work nights, weekends, holidays on a rotating basis.
