Job summary

IHOP is seeking a BoH Team Member to join our kitchen and dining support team. You’ll help keep the back of house clean, safe, and efficient while working across shifts and supporting a positive guest experience.

Open to applicants with a willingness to learn, minimum 6 months in casual dining preferred, HS diploma or GED, and basic POS familiarity. We offer competitive pay, paid training, meals on duty, and opportunities for advancement.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

The BoH Team Member is an energetic team player who understands the essentials of restaurant kitchen maintenance or is willing to learn. Working various shifts, you will clean and manage the kitchen space to ensure a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment for all team members. Being reliable and taking a positive approach to tackling physical tasks, such as dishwashing, is critical.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system is preferred
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
