Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Retail Stocking Team Supervisor in Anchorage to lead the back-of-house operations and daily workflow. This full-time role partners with store management to supervise receiving, merchandising progression, and stock-to-floor processes.

You will drive teamwork, uphold safety and asset protection guidelines, and participate in weekly planning. The position requires ability to lift 40 lbs and work a full-time schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work full-time including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor).
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and workload.
• Accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
