Andy’s Pizza is looking for a Back of House Shift Lead to oversee kitchen operations during assigned shifts at the Montgomery Mall location in Bethesda, MD. The role supports the Kitchen Manager and collaborates with front-of-house staff to ensure timely, high-quality pizza production.

The ideal candidate has cook experience in fast-paced environments, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on food safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-of-house operations during assigned shifts, especially peak periods.
• Set the pace and standard on the line to keep production moving.
• Serve as a point of escalation for kitchen issues when the Kitchen Manager is unavailable.
• Coordinate timing with front-of-house leadership to meet guest needs.
• Train new team members on policies, procedures, and food preparation expectations.
