Job summary

Microchip Fab 4 in Gresham, Oregon seeks a Back Night Production Shift Manager to lead direct and indirect labor, driving KPI attainment and continuous improvement. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize throughput while upholding Microchip’s culture and values.

The role requires senior supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to train and mentor staff to meet ambitious goals on a nightly shift.

Qualifications

• Senior level supervisory experience in a high-tech, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes.
• Proven ability to hire, lead and develop a productive team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct labor (specialists and leads) and indirect labor (supervisors).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet Fab 4 goals and KPI targets.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and specialists for continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and remove barriers to success.
• Maintain alignment with Microchip culture, values, and safety standards.
