Back-End Developer, IBM Corporation

Location: Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites across the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted)

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and test software features for cloud fabric offerings. Create documentation such as functional programming specifications and high-level design documents.
2. Monitor whether implemented components pass unit testing and are ready for integration.
3. Fix defects identified during the software development lifecycle.
4. Attend daily scrums to report progress, identify root causes, develop fixes, and support production issues.
5. Create and review documentation for new features; keep Github updated; meet daily with sub-team for coordination.
6. Develop code for defects, new features, or process improvements; automate provisioning and configuration of cloud fabric; develop RESTful APIs.
7. Develop in Python, Java, and Ansible; write unit test plans and perform testing.
8. Create content and deliver presentations to senior management.
9. Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Ansible, Linux, and Helm.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or Bachelor's degree plus five years of progressive experience.
• At least one year of experience as a Software Developer, including experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Ansible, Linux, and Helm.

Salary: $179,982 to $202,500 per year. Full-time position.
