I’m working with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI infrastructure company building a next-generation data platform for real-time decisioning. Their product enables engineering teams to process and act on massive streams of data with low latency, powering mission-critical systems across fintech, logistics, and cybersecurity. They’ve recently raised a $22M Series A, are valued at ~$120M, and are scaling rapidly as demand accelerates.
They’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join their on-site San Francisco team, focused on building and scaling the core systems that power their platform.
You’ll design and build high-performance backend services using Go and Python, working with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data pipelines. You’ll take ownership of APIs, database design (Postgres + Redis), and infrastructure components, ensuring reliability, scalability, and low-latency performance. The role involves close collaboration with a small, high-caliber engineering team, contributing to system architecture and tackling complex backend challenges in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the foundation of a deeply technical product at an early stage, with real ownership over critical systems. The team is made up of experienced engineers from top infrastructure and distributed systems backgrounds, and the company is already seeing strong enterprise traction. It’s a chance to work on hard engineering problems while having a direct impact on product and company growth.
