Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking on-call babysitters to support families in the Austin area. You will provide safe, engaging in-home childcare for children of various ages and abilities, with a focus on reliable, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include ensuring a healthy environment, activities, light housekeeping, and being punctual for shifts. Prior childcare experience and first aid/CPR certification are preferred, with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Qualifications

Experience as a babysitter, nanny, teacher, daycare worker, or camp counselor.
Certification in first aid and child and infant CPR.
Experience with special needs children.

Responsibilities

Ensure a healthy and safe environment.
Provide engaging activities for children.
Care for infants including feeding, diapering, and dressing.
Prepare healthy snacks and meals.
Encourage healthy habits and hygiene; assist with toilet training.
Perform light housework (laundry, dishes, tidying).
Help with homework as needed.
Be punctual and consistently cover shifts.

SYNERGY HomeCare is currently accepting applications from responsible, outgoing individuals for flexible in-home childcare opportunities. On-call childcare assignments may be last-minute, date nights, weekend coverage, or periodic care dates. These are short-term placements (typically 4-6 hours each) and require individuals who enjoy working with a variety of families and children.
