Job summary

AMPed Education in Troy, Michigan is seeking a part-time Teacher to lead Parent/Baby/Toddler and Kids Yoga classes. The role involves teaching yoga sessions that are primarily during the day and on weekends. Starting with 2-3 hours weekly, there is potential for more hours as interest grows.

Qualifications

• Must have training/certification in a toddler/children's yoga program.
• Experience in working with parents and children is required.
• Must be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Teach Parent/Baby/Toddler Yoga classes, typically 30 minutes long.
• Conduct Kids Yoga classes, which are 45 minutes long.
• Able to work part-time, starting with 2-3 hours per week.

Skills

Training/certification in a toddler/children's yoga program

Experience working with parents and children

Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid training

Education

RYT 200 Certification (preferred)

AMPed Education is a small, private education company dedicated to hands‑on learning, differentiated instruction, and showing every student that they are capable of great things. Small group classes and 1:1 support, both online and in‑person in STEAM, literacy, and so much more.

Job Description

Teacher will be in charge of the following classes:

• Parent/Baby/Toddler Yoga classes. 30 minutes long. Typically during the day and on weekends
• Kids Yoga classes. 45 minutes long. Typically during the day in summer with added after school and weekend classes starting in the fall

Hours: Part time. 2-3 hours per week to start with more available as interest grows.

Pay: $25 per hour.

Start Date: Mid July

Qualifications

• Training/certification in a toddler/children's yoga program.
• Experience working with parents and children.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid training

• RYT 200 Certification
• CPR/First Aid training
• Personal liability insurance
