Job summary

Carter’s is hiring a Sales Associate to be the first face of our brand for growing families. You’ll warmly welcome customers, introduce them to our baby essentials, and help them prepare for important moments like school days, always delivering friendly, helpful service.

You’ll contribute to a welcoming store environment, assist with omnichannel shopping when needed, handle POS transactions, replenish floors, and explain current promotions and loyalty benefits while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Resolve issues for customers and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by assisting omnichannel shopping as needed.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotions and loyalty programs to customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean store and minimize loss through service.
