Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Baader Technician I to perform skilled maintenance on Baader line equipment across production facilities and vessels. You will repair electrical and mechanical systems, set and adjust machine components, and document maintenance work to ensure safe, efficient operation.

This role requires at least 2 years of Baader equipment maintenance and a high school diploma or GED. Alaska work environment and safety training are essential; eligibility for benefits is provided

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience on Baader manufacturing equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; or related training.
• Baader Certificate or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains Baader electrical systems ( encoders, switches, motors, controllers).
• Repairs and maintains mechanical systems of Baader filleting machines (chains, bearings, belts, gearboxes).
• Sets and adjusts guides, knives, spike chains and blocks per specs and safety procedures.
• Ensures conversion factors and yield ratios meet targets.
• Tests machines to verify proper operation of motors and tooling.
• Completes maintenance documentation such as logbooks and work orders.
• Follows safety procedures and environmental policies.
