BA Healthcare Consultant – Apex Systems

Join Apex Systems as a Business Analyst focused on healthcare solutions. You will translate business needs into technical solutions and support strategic goals in government and Medicaid IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business programs and IT to deliver technical solutions.
• Analyze business operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and automation opportunities.
• Conduct stakeholder sessions to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
• Facilitate communication from requirements to implementation and identify risks and issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and government agencies.
• Support buy vs. build decision‑making processes and maintain business rules in a repository.
• Perform other project‑related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with IBM Cúram software.
• 1+ years of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or similar role.
• 1+ years of experience eliciting and documenting business rules and processes.
• 2+ years of experience in Medicaid Eligibility or other healthcare insurance domains.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills; proficiency in English.
• Proven ability to gather requirements through interviews and policy analysis.
• Knowledge of formal business process documentation and modeling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with State and Federal government agencies.
• Familiarity with requirements repositories and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
