Job summary

Firebrand is seeking a Public Relations Account Supervisor to lead media relations for high-growth B2B AI-focused clients. You will develop media strategies, craft timely pitches, and manage outreach across tech, business, and trade outlets while guiding clients through quarterly programs.

The role requires 4–6+ years PR experience, agency background, and fluency with AI tools. You will work with a senior team and support new business pitches in a remote-first, Bay Area-based setup.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years' relevant PR experience, ideally in an agency.
• Bachelor's degree level.
• Working fluency with AI tools, and a real example of a workflow you've rebuilt with them.
• Good presentation skills in front of C-level execs.
• Unflappable, practical, proactive, mature approach.
• Creative, disciplined, curious, organized.

Responsibilities

• Media relations. Building relationships with and pitching relevant media (tech, business, trade, vertical, online and broadcast), newsjacking and rapid response
• Client management. Working directly with clients daily, advising on strategy, implementation, status and performance of PR programs
• Influencer relations. Research and outreach to relevant influencers, including industry analysts, academics and thought leaders
• Content creation. Press announcements, blog posts, media pitches and thought leadership material
• Speaker and awards programs. Identifying key conferences, speaker placement and awards submissions
• Social media. Organic campaigns, primarily LinkedIn
• Agency. Supporting new business pitching, content creation
• Measurement. Reporting programs to industry best practice using our own custom apps
