Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in a public relations agency or a similar position; technology, B2B or professional services experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• Proven ability to take initiative and apply critical thinking to assignments.
• Positive attitude that contributes to the team and agency culture.
• Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day client contact for a large B2B professional services company; foster client-agency relationship to build trust.
• Plan and implement account activities including media relations, desk-side briefings, program implementation, and counsel on integrated communications best practices.
• Develop a full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media briefing books, media pitches, and executive-facing reports.
• Research and compile high-quality media lists, trending news updates, and industry knowledge relevant to the client’s program and objectives.
• Lead account support such as meeting agendas, action items, and weekly newsletters.
• Develop and monitor program plans; report status to client and account teams regularly.
• Understand client business and competitive environments to tailor programs and recommendations.
• Coordinate internal and external resources and facilitate teamwork within the account team.
