Job summary

Golin Ketchum is seeking an Account Supervisor, Corporate Affairs to join our Employee and Executive Advisory team. You will lead client programs, manage budgets, write and edit materials, and foster trusted client relationships across industries.

You bring at least 4 years in a PR environment, strong writing and project management skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Equal opportunity employer; in-office 3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• Broad exposure to proposal planning, writing/presentations, and media relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, English, marketing, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Development of client programs, project management, strategic plan writing, trend reporting, financial management.
• Serve as key liaison among client, account team and agency management
• Manage day-to-day account needs
• Be client-facing, fostering client-agency relationships to build trust
• Provide guidance to clients and anticipate needs
• Troubleshoot client issues and seek senior input when needed
• Build knowledge of clients’ business and competitive environments
• Demonstrate knowledge of media strategies, internal communications, thought leadership, and executive visibility
• Write/edit internal communications, correspondence and plans
• Develop presentation skills to articulate ideas
• Manage account financials including budgets, time sheets, invoicing and PO processes
• Utilize agency network to deliver value
• Participate in new business programming and presentations
• Stay abreast of industry trends and share insights with clients
