Job Summary:

The B2B Digital Platform Manager plays a strategic leadership role in optimizing and evolving Carhartt’s digital sales ecosystem. This individual will own Carhartt Sales digital platform roadmap strategy, finding ways to improve service and reduce costs through automation initiatives to enhance the B2B sales experience for both internal teams and external customers. As the primary decision-maker for platform enhancements, the B2B Digital Platform Manager will partner with IT to ensure seamless system functionality, identify AI-driven efficiencies, and define data retention, management policies and procedures. Collaborating closely with Sales Leadership, IT Solution Delivery, and the D2C Center of Excellence, this individual will proactively identify opportunities for digital innovation, align platform capabilities with business objectives, and drive measurable improvements in sales performance and operational effectiveness.

Representative Responsibilities

  1. Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of digital sales platforms including B2B, Sales Hub, and Salesforce or other CRM, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  2. Participate in vendor evaluation processes as needed, ensuring all functionalities and features align seamlessly with business objectives.
  3. Identify the data and creative content needed within our digital platforms to support automated, digital driven processes. Work alongside IT ensuring optimal functionality and seamless compatibility.
  4. Scope AI-driven efficiencies and automation initiatives to enhance the B2B sales experience in collaboration with IT Solution Delivery, the data science team and other cross functional stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, IT Solution Delivery, and the D2C Center of Excellence to scope platform needs, gather requirements, and oversee technical rollouts.
  6. Actively engage in the Go-To-Market process to support sales representatives in the sell-in cycle and ensure successful execution of seasonal product lines and assortments.
  7. Develop and implement user adoption strategies to maximize the effective use of digital sales platforms.
  8. Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to internal teams and external customers, ensuring high user engagement and satisfaction.
  9. Continuously monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for increased automation and operational efficiencies.
  10. Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital platforms adoption, ensuring that the platforms contribute to measurable improvements in sales and operational effectiveness.
  11. Promote a culture of data integrity and security within the digital sales ecosystem by ensuring defined policies and procedures are followed.
  12. Align platform capabilities with evolving business needs and market trends to drive measurable improvements in sales performance and operational effectiveness.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in management, business or a related field.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of marketing, communications, project management, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of managing and optimizing digital platforms required, such as CRM (Salesforce preferred), Content Management (Sharepoint), Project Management (Smartsheets preferred).
  • Excellent project management skills with attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office- including MS Project, Excel, Visio, Word.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Focus on enhancing the experience for both internal sales teams and external clients.
  • Experience working with various departments to align teams and initiatives toward shared goals.
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams toward achieving objectives.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment; office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.
  • Willing to work some weekends if necessary.
  • National travel required (up to 30%).
