Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) seeks a Production Supervisor to lead and develop associates toward operational excellence in a designated manufacturing area. The role provides day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to ensure engaged, accountable employees focused on continuous improvement.

The supervisor drives safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and adherence to BD policies and safety regulations while promoting a high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop associates to achieve operational excellence.
• Spend at least 75% of time on production floor coaching and supporting staff.
• Develop staffing, onboarding, and training plans for the department.
• Provide timely, constructive performance feedback.
• Foster accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to meet schedules and metrics.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems, policies and safety regulations.
