Job summary

Westin is seeking a dedicated production associate at our WPM Main Plant in Fairbury, NE. The role involves startup checks, packaging, date verification, and daily safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining GMPs, reporting production figures, performing weekly pre-op inspections, and ensuring correct labeling and packaging across lines. Join a team committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must follow GMPs at all times.
• Participate in daily LEAN meetings and stretches.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies.
• Notify management immediately of any unsafe situations.
• Follow all Food Safety Policies.
• Must follow LOTO (Lock out Tag out) program.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Prompt, on time reporting to work stations is required.
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces and stairs.
• Able to lift, push, pull, bend, twist and stoop regularly.
• Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check dates and labels during startup and switchover on lines.
• Monitor seal integrity of pouches.
• Report production numbers to Operations Manager and General Manager.
• Perform a Pre-Op inspection one morning each week.
• Set up boxes for packaging and package product.
• Package product and ensure correct date and packaging.
• Move pallets and wrap finished pallets according to safety policies.
• Conduct daily paperwork and record-keeping as required.
