  • Assist the Link Tuber in machine setups as needed.
  • Identify, analyze, and accurately perform necessary adjustments.
  • Perform setups on the bottomer, patch unit, patch printing, and palletizer using basic tools.
  • Lubricate machinery as needed.
  • Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Skills

Ability to read, write, and understand instructions

Knowledge of multi-wall bags and manufacturing process
Proficiency with basic hand tools, ink carts, PH meters, and Zahn cups

B Operator – Wilmington, OH

Position Type: Active Full‑Time.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed production goals on the assigned machine.
  • Assist the Link Tuber in machine setups as needed.
  • Identify, analyze, and accurately perform necessary adjustments.
  • Perform setups on the bottomer, patch unit, patch printing, and palletizer using basic tools.
  • Lubricate machinery as needed.
  • Perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills to identify, analyze, and perform proper adjustments.
  • Knowledge of multi‑wall bags and the bag manufacturing process.
  • Must complete Hood Packaging’s bag school and/or certification process.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools, ink carts, PH meters, and Zahn cups.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
