Job summary

A regional landscaping company in McKinney is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Crew Lead to supervise a maintenance crew and ensure high-quality landscape maintenance. Responsibilities include training crew members, performing tasks like mowing and trimming, and managing daily routes efficiently. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of landscaping experience and strong knowledge of maintenance practices. Bilingual abilities and valid driver’s license are preferred. Job description

• Lead and supervise a maintenance crew on daily routes
• Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general landscape maintenance
• Ensure all properties meet quality standards and client expectations
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, etc.)
• Manage time, materials, and route efficiency to meet daily production goals
• Communicate with management regarding job progress, issues, or customer concerns
• Ensure all safety guidelines and company policies are followed
• 2+ years of landscaping maintenance experience required
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and equipment
• Ability to lead a team, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required (clean driving record preferred)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
