Diehl Auto Repair in Lisle, IL is seeking a B-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair drivability, mechanical and electrical issues. The role offers a flat-rate pay structure with an earning potential of $75,000–$85,000 per year and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

You’ll work with a dedicated bay, perform Digital Vehicle Inspections, and complete repairs from diagnosis to finish. The shop provides paid NAPA training, opportunities to advance toward A-Level diagnostic work,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic experience.
• Strong mechanical repair skills.
• Digital Vehicle Inspection experience required.
• Ability to consistently produce 40+ flagged hours per week.
• European vehicle experience is a plus.
• Dealership and independent repair shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose drivability, mechanical, and electrical concerns.
• Complete assigned repairs from diagnosis through completion.
• Repair brake, steering, suspension, engine, and cooling systems.
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed maintenance and repairs.
• Work with the team to maintain an efficient workflow.
