Job summary

KAR Auto Service and Sales LLC is seeking a B-Level Automotive Technician in Connecticut. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, handle most repairs independently, and continue to grow diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle most repairs with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications are a plus (not required).
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
• Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
• Accurately document vehicle issues and repairs
• Work closely with service advisors and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow safety procedures and shop standards
