Job Juncture is seeking an experienced A/B Automotive Service Technician in Meriden, CT for a full-time role. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles with emphasis on quality workmanship and safety.

Tools are provided by the shop for specialty equipment as applicable, and technicians must bring their own toolkit. Responsibilities include diagnosing drivability concerns, performing brake and suspension repairs, and communicating findings to customers or management.

Qualifications

  • Experience and accuracy diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Dependable, professional, and focused on providing quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
  • Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs.
  • Perform engine and cooling system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Diagnose check-engine lights and other warning systems.
  • Perform tune-ups, fluid services, and preventative maintenance.
  • Inspect vehicles and identify needed or recommended repairs.
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while upholding high quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and shop policies.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable A/B Automotive Service Technicianto join our team. We are looking for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, can accurately diagnose and repair vehicles, and is comfortable working independently in a busy automotive service environment.

This is afull-time opportunitywith compensation based on experience, technical ability, and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
  • Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs.
  • Perform engine and cooling system diagnostics and repairs.

Qualifications
  • A-Level or B-Level technician experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and committed to providing quality service.
Tools Required

Technicians are required to provide their own tools and toolbox.

Specialty or shop equipment will be provided as applicable.

Compensation

Pay will vary based onexperience, skill level, certifications, and overall technical ability. Experienced A-Level technicians will be compensated accordingly.
