Job summary

Boeing San Antonio is seeking a B-52 Field Service Representative to provide engineering and technical recommendations for the USAF B-52 CERP program, supporting field operations at San Antonio, TX with deployments to Edwards AFB, CA.

The role requires extensive avionics/electrical maintenance experience, ability to read complex drawings and orders, and willingness to deploy on short notice and relocate as needed to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years avionics or electrical experience in B-52 flight line maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform modifications/repair.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing maintainability analyses that included step-by-step procedures, times, and tool requirements.
• Willing to deploy/travel domestically and internationally on short notice and relocate as needed.
• Willing to relocate domestically or internationally to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical recommendations to customers regarding manuals, orders, data, training, and technical support.
• Represent Boeing to customers, regulatory authorities, and industry groups to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Lead research on maintenance, regulatory, safety, and quality issues affecting the B-52 fleet.
• Develop clear customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of the aircraft and support equipment.
• Support flight line operations by providing technical guidance to maintainers and customer personnel.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program teams to resolve technical issues and support mission readiness.
