INIT Innovations in Transportation, Inc. is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to own and operate complex infrastructure supporting customer-facing transit deployments.

You will work independently with vendor management and collaborate with Systems Engineering on platform decisions. Responsibilities include monitoring Azure resources, automating provisioning with PowerShell, managing Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud delivery platforms while ensuring security, reliability, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or infra engineering.
• Certifications: Security+ and Azure Admin Associate preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, AD, and hybrid identity.
• Experience automating with PowerShell and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure resource health, performance, availability, and cost; respond to alerts.
• Author and maintain PowerShell automation for provisioning and remediation.
• Administer Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and GPOs.
• Manage VMware vSphere environments and capacity planning.
• Operate application delivery infra (F5, App Gateway) and cloud services.
• Ensure security posture and incident response coordination.
