Position Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to join our team! In this role, you’ll design, deploy, and support cloud-based virtual desktop solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients. You’ll work directly with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure AVD environments are secure, scalable, and high-performing.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions for enterprise clients.
• Customize cloud-based virtual desktop architectures to meet diverse business requirements.
• Optimize AVD environments to improve performance, security, and user experience.
• Conduct AVD health assessments and recommend strategic improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Use PowerShell for task automation and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Apply IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices to maintain service quality.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• 3+ years of experience with Windows 10/11 and related Microsoft technologies.
• Proven ability to lead AVD/VDI implementations at scale.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, system design, and performance optimization.
• Strong scripting experience with PowerShell.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Bonus Points for:

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-140, AZ-104, etc.).
• Experience with FSLogix, Windows 365 Cloud PC, or Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Familiarity with networking in virtual desktop environments.
