Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a hands-on Azure/Terraform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure development and migrations from GCP to Azure for a leading healthcare organization. Build secure Azure landing zones, reusable Terraform modules, and configure networking and security services.

Lead production cutovers during migrations, implement least-privilege RBAC, and optimize Terraform workflows.

Qualifications

5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, with 3+ years building reusable Terraform modules.
3+ years Azure experience with AKS, VNets, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, and Entra ID.
2+ years configuring Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC.
Experience migrating applications and infrastructure from GCP to Azure.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and least-privilege access management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure, including AKS, networking, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, and Blob/ADLS.
Lead migrations from GCP to Azure, including production cutovers and decommissioning.
Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC for AKS ingress.
Implement least-privilege RBAC and secure cloud infrastructure.
Refactor and optimize the Terraform infrastructure using imports and moved blocks.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues and support security remediation.
