Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a hands-on Azure/Terraform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure development and migrations from GCP to Azure for a leading healthcare organization. Build secure Azure landing zones, reusable Terraform modules, and configure networking and security services.

Lead production cutovers during migrations, implement least-privilege RBAC, and optimize Terraform workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, with 3+ years building reusable Terraform modules.
• 3+ years Azure experience with AKS, VNets, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, and Entra ID.
• 2+ years configuring Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC.
• Experience migrating applications and infrastructure from GCP to Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and least-privilege access management.

• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure, including AKS, networking, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, and Blob/ADLS.
• Lead application and infrastructure migrations from GCP to Azure, including production cutovers and GCP decommissioning.
• Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC for AKS ingress.
• Implement least-privilege RBAC and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Refactor and optimize existing Terraform infrastructure using imports and moved blocks.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues and support security remediation efforts.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, including 3+ years developing reusable Terraform modules, remote state, and workload state isolation.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience with AKS, VNets, Key Vault, ACR, PostgreSQL, Azure Storage, Managed Identities, and Entra ID.
• 2+ years configuring Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC.
• Direct, hands-on experience migrating applications and infrastructure from GCP to Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and least-privilege access management.

Preferred:

Experience with NextGen Networks, GCP services (GKE, Cloud Armor, and load balancing), enterprise Terraform module libraries, Venafi/PKI, and Prisma Cloud remediation.
