Job summary

Expression is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with Azure Cloud Operations to support the NTIA Federal Spectrum Data Systems (FSDS) program within the Department of Commerce. The role requires Active Secret clearance and will operate hybrid/on-site in Washington, DC to maintain secure, available systems.

Responsibilities include patching, backups, STIG implementation, and monitoring across Azure environments, with DoD 8140 IAT Level II and CompTIA Security+ certifications preferred

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or equivalent certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ and Azure Expert-level certification are preferred.
• Experience in patching, backup validation, and STIG implementation.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of Azure environments supporting NTIA Secret and Unclassified systems.
• Apply STIGs, perform patching, backups, and remediation of security findings.
• Monitor Azure dashboards and manage Log Analytics workspaces for centralized monitoring.
• Support cost analysis, incident response, and security-focused initiatives across Azure environments.
• Maintain documentation and assist in required contractual reporting.
