Job summary

TransCore, LP is seeking a full-time Azure Systems Administrator to join our IT/Infrastructure Department. Location options include Harrisburg, Union (NJ), Ashburn, Houston and San Diego. The role focuses on Azure-based infrastructure, requires 5–10 years of experience, and offers a salary range of $90–110k.

The incumbent will administer Azure services, monitor performance, support cloud and hybrid solutions, and maintain thorough documentation while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and security within Azure environments.
• Scripting with PowerShell for automation and system management.
• Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises Azure) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.

• Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring high levels of uptime and security.

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Adapt to shifting priorities, changing deadlines, and emerging business needs.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Azure-related issues.
• Participate in planning and executing system upgrades and changes.

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a skilled and adaptable full-time Azure Systems Administrator to join our IT/Infrastructure Department. Possible office locations include: Harrisburg, PA; Union, NJ; Ashburn, VA; Houston, TX and San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

The Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting, managing, and optimizing our Azure-based infrastructure, while working closely with team members across various departments.

Salary Range:

$90 - 110k, based upon qualifications and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304).

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration and administration.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
