Job summary

Cyberlocke in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced Azure Security and Data Governance Engineer to design, implement, validate, and operate security and governance controls across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric data modernization environments.

This role protects data through its lifecycle and enforces governance, classification, encryption, and compliance across cloud data platforms, collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in cloud security, information security, or data governance.
• 3+ years securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with Entra ID and RBAC for IAM.
• Experience with Purview data cataloging, classification, and governance.
• Experience securing Azure data services and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with Fabric, Power BI, OneLake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Azure Policy, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Monitor or Sentinel.
• Understanding networking concepts and private endpoints.
• Experience with encryption, secrets management, and identity protection.
• Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, and remediation.
