We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Project Engineer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for a cloud and infrastructure professional with deep experience in Azure Intune, Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft Collaboration Suite, Azure Site Recovery, and traditional Windows-based systems. The ideal candidate will also bring strong knowledge of networking and security best practices to support hybrid environments and enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, compute, storage, and identity services.
• Deploy and administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, compliance, and security.
• Support and optimize Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
• Plan and execute disaster recovery strategies using Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
• Maintain and troubleshoot traditional Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Configure and monitor enterprise networking components including firewalls, VPNs, switches, and routing protocols.
• Implement and enforce security policies across cloud and on-prem environments, including patch management, endpoint protection, and identity governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud and infrastructure projects on time and within scope.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure and cloud-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Azure Site Recovery and business continuity planning.
• Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls).
• Familiarity with security frameworks and tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, conditional access, MFA).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation and configuration.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-102, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises integrations.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, HIPAA).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
