Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Platform Engineer, Azure / DevOps, to influence design, implement and support cloud-based solutions (Azure focus) while guiding on-premise ecosystem. This hybrid role is located in Richmond, VA and reports to the Platform Administration Team.

You will administer Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Confluent Cloud; automate with Terraform; ensure high availability, security, and performance; collaborate with developers and IT teams.

Qualifications

Deep Azure expertise with Synapse and Databricks.
Experience with data integration and data warehousing in cloud environments.
Knowledge of security best practices in enterprise cloud.
Proven ability to automate and optimize DevSecOps workflows.

Responsibilities

Administer and configure Azure services including Synapse Analytics and Databricks.
Develop infrastructure-as-code automation via Terraform.
Lead Azure-based solution delivery and maintain high availability.
Drive automation and optimization of DevSecOps practices.
