Job summary

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAF, and IaC tooling, along with a customer-service mindset to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly in a dynamic consulting setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience supporting Azure cloud environments and enterprise-scale Azure architectures.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, DNS, routing, peering, and private connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, network peering, routing, and connectivity solutions
• Implement and maintain Azure network security controls, including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and Private Endpoints
• Monitor and optimize Azure resource performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Ensure secure deployment of applications to production environments by enforcing security standards, access controls, and configuration management practices
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security requirements throughout the application deployment lifecycle
