Job summary

MedVanta is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, support, and maintain Azure-focused network and cloud infrastructure. The role includes field service at office and clinical locations, plus remote support to resolve Tier 2 issues.

You will work in a modern Azure-centered hybrid IT environment with opportunities to influence infrastructure standards, security, and cloud initiatives. Strong collaboration and certification are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience in Azure / AWS cloud services, IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering.
• Cloud Services certification required.
• Relevant certifications (Azure Network Engineer Associate, Security, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred but not required.
• Prior experience providing Level 2 or Tier 2 technical support
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Proven experience collaborating across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Design, implement, and manage network and cloud infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security; remediate issues to ensure high availability.
• Support and manage hybrid environments.
• Install, configure, test, repair, and replace network equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Assist with cloud migrations and infrastructure-as-code initiatives (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Provide Tier II support to Help Desk staff and mentors.
• Document network configurations, standards, and resolutions for knowledge base.
