VDart, Inc. is seeking an Azure Technical Migration Consultant for a long-term contract in the Greater Seattle area.

The role focuses on migration architecture and technical leadership for moves from Azure Stack Hub and Azure Stack Edge to Azure and Azure Local, with emphasis on hybrid cloud integration. You will assess environments, design migration patterns, and lead workshops to identify risks and dependencies, while validating methodologies with Microsoft engineering teams.

• Deep technical guidance on Azure Stack Hub infrastructure and edge deployments.
• Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and Azure networking.

Responsabilidades

• Migration Architecture & Technical Leadership.
• Serve as the technical authority for migrations from Azure Stack Hub and Azure Stack Edge to Azure and Azure Local.
• Assess customer environments and determine optimal migration patterns, sequencing, dependencies, and readiness.
• Provide inputs to design and migration approaches covering compute, storage, networking, identity, security, monitoring, backup, and DR.
• Lead technical discovery workshops to identify risks, unsupported configurations, and dependencies.
• Review and approve migration runbooks, rollback strategies, and operational readiness plans.
• Validate migration methodologies with Microsoft engineering teams for field applicability.
• Lead root cause analyses for failed or delayed migrations.
• Develop migration guides, decision trees, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
• Create reusable artifacts to improve migration consistency across customers.
• Lead technical discussions with strategic customers and present architecture roadmaps.
• Communicate migration risks, blockers, and remediation options.
• Conduct executive-level technical briefings and support critical migration events.
