Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Azure SQL Migration Subject Matter Expert to guide design, build, and migration efforts to Azure. You will collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams, solving problems and driving cloud innovation across transformational projects.
You will be the SME for SQL Server IaaS/PaaS, advising customers and project teams, and ensuring migrations meet performance, availability, and security requirements while adapting to client
Qualifications
- Expertise with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
- Hands-on experience with DMA or Azure Migrate.
- Proficiency in SQL Server performance tuning.
- Knowledge of AlwaysOn Availability Groups and high availability techniques.
- Strong SQL Server backups knowledge.
- Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.
- Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.
- Comfort navigating different client environments.
Responsibilities
- Assess on-premise workloads for cloud readiness.
- Design migration strategies to Azure.
- Provide technical engineering expertise during the migration process.
- Serve as a SME for SQL Server IaaS and SQL PaaS design and build activities.
- Offer advice and consultancy to customers and project teams.
